Spark is an interactive television channel run by students of the New Media and Media Technology courses at Lincoln University. It is the first of its kind worldwide and was originally created for BBCi (the BBC's interactive channel) and shown on KIT (Kingston Communications former interactive television package).
We launched the channel on BBCi Hull in February 2005 and it was featured on BBCi Hull via KIT until April 2006.
Want to get involved?
The two main goals of the channel are to give students at the university an opportunity to learn various aspects of television production and editing, and also to provide viewers with a unique view on what is going on locally and also new ideas in terms of shows/documentaries.
If you would like to get involved with the Spark team, we welcome all input! Get in touch via the Contact us page.
